The points System will be awarded as follows. When you enter into an event under the clubs name, and are the first from WCMC to finish, you will be awarded 20 points, 2nd 18 points, 3rd 16 points then deducting 1 point as you go down until you reach 10th place. Anyone after 10th will receive 2 points, you will receive 1 point if you fail to finish, this points scoring system will be the same for all categories. In any event were there are classes (excluding autosolos) you will also receive class points, 1st in class – 4 points, 2nd in class – 2 points, 3rd in class – 1 point.
Example:
There are 3 Crews competing on an event, you finish 10th O/A and first out of the WCMC crews but don’t come in the top three of your class, you will recieve 20 points. Out of the other two crews competing, one doesn’t finish, they recieve 1 point. The other crew finish 48th O/A, but win their class, they recieve 18 points + 4 points for winning their class, 22 points in total. Yes you finished higher up but if you are finishing rallies in the top 10 you have a much higher powered rally car than someone finishing 48th, unless they have had problems. We are trying to make it equal for everyone and hopefully a better and closer fought Championship.
To qualify for points for any of the catergories below you MUST be entered into your event in the Clubs Name, this rule excludes major Championships that dictate you must enter under their banner, i.e. BTRDA.
As always I (Dave Culley) will try and keep an eye on everybody, but it is up to you to claim your points, all I need is the event and where you finished to be sent to me no later than one month after the event or they will not count, my contact details are grizemotorsport@aol.co.uk or text me on 07835434471
WHEN YOU DO AN EVENT YOU HAVE ONE MONTH TO CLAIM ANY POINTS, AFTER THAT THEY BECOME VOID.
